Pooh’s Bungalows

Pooh Lipe, the friendliest place on Koh Lipe, was established on December 26th 2001 and is located in the middle of the island . We have a restaurant, bungalows, bar, travel service, internet, money exchange and a dive shop. Our staff totals 25 people and we are always ready to serve you with a smile, to help you feel at home. We were the first resort to happily accept Visa, Mastercard.

Bungalows

We have 6 concrete bungalows with double queen size bed, fan, mosquito net, private bathroom and a large terrace. Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard.

Also you will get 20 minutes free internet access daily.
Free water refills are avalible for our guests. 

Internet

For those who are feeling a little bit far away from home we have Wireless Internet connection available from 9.00 am until 23.00 pm. So bring your laptop, get a coffee or beer and email your friends back home about the beautiful island of Lipe. We also have PC’s for you to use if you don’t have a laptop.

Pooh Restaurant

Our restaurant serves Thai and International cuisine and is open daily from 08.00 am until 23.00 pm. Enjoy dishes exclusive to Pooh Restaurant, such as: Steak Bar (barbeque), International Buffet, Beer Garden, fresh coffees, etc ... in the natural surroundings of our restaurant and garden. Read a book from our multi-lingual library or just relax in our Lazy Corner. 

Pooh Bar

Our bar is open daily from 17.00 pm until the last guest goes home. The design concept for the bar is a Thai-Balinese style: “Bring The Beach To Pooh Bar”.

Come relax and enjoy our cocktails, draught beer, mocktail (no alcohol), fruit shake. We now also have a new pool table for everyone to enjoy. For the die hard sports fans there is a large screen that shows all premier league and international matches. In between times you may be able to catch a good movie.

Pooh Bar is the only place on Koh Lipe to feature live music on a regular basis. Pooh Bar has a stage and a decent spec sound system. Koh Lipe’s ’Bung Band’ the only live band on the island formed from excellent musicians who once resided in Bangkok, regularly perform outstanding self penned and cover version reggae songs that engage the crowd till the early hours. Other featured musicians include ’Job To Do’ , ’Jammin Band’ and Chai and the Islander.

Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments of any kind and join in the "open-mic" every night.

Pooh Bar parties at Christmas, New Year and Songkran are THE BEST on the island, seeing the dance floor full to capacity with plently of dancin from customers and locals alike. Including some hilarious impromtu disco dancin from the local Chao Lay!
